Me and my husband have been in Bodrum 2 years ago. I conduct research on world cuisine and we have decided to go Turkey because i always wanted to taste and see Turkish cuisine. Once i had a friend in Holland from Turkey. She cooked us several times from Turkish cuisine, and i was impressed.My research started 6 months ago before we have come to Turkey. In Bodrum a friend of my mother guided us about where to go. Once we were taken to Sakiz Ana Restaurant for lunch in which we had taken 'dolma'(with mince meat in it, that was really delicious.),karniyarik ( a meal made with aubergine and mince) and some kind of Turkish dessert(i forget the name) One day in Gumusluk we were taken to fish restaurant. Beside fish, there were starters (called meze in Turkish) which are great! Especially i ate 2 dishes of horsebean puree. I learned to cook it. (Really easy) There were a lot of things we tasted.And the Turkish coffe is like no other coffee's in the world. i bought much from there. And i found a web site
